The Workshop ‘European Union, Mercosur and Argentina: Strategic Challenges and Opportunities in a Changing World’ takes place in a complex and volatile global context, in which the European Union seeks to calibrate its international leadership and deepen its strategic relationship with Latin America and the Caribbean. The recent signing of the agreement with Mercosur represents a key opportunity for both the region and Argentina, opening up new prospects for cooperation and development. In this scenario, thought leaders capables of channelling these opportunities and transforming them into concrete actions are required.


The Jean Monnet Module ‘European Union in Latin America and the Caribbean: from Brussels to Buenos Aires’ at Universidad Austral's School of Government organises this 24-hour executive training with the aim of training and connecting decision-makers with international officials, professors and renowned experts.
